Learning Environment to Reduce
Risk Factors for Students
To provide a safe, healthy, and conducive environment for learning, it is essential to provide morning health screening. In order to prevent and reduce risk factors for students, it is important to inculcate and practice hand washing before entering the class, checking the temperature and inspection for suspect body rashes to prevent spread of contagious diseases in the school environment (especially viral fever, dengue, hand foot and mouth disease, measles etc.).
Through this project therefore, the Government seeks to provide a toolkit for conducting health screening to every public school with foundation stage classes, orient school staff in usage of the toolkit, and create awareness targeting the parents on importance of conducting the health screening for every public school with foundation stage classes.
